Hans & Helga's Story

Hans and Helga were found running as strays in a rural part of Kansas. Hans is 6 years old and weighs about 12 pounds and Helga is about 1 year old and weighs almost 16 pounds. They are very sweet and very timid, but they want so much to get people attention and loving! They are a little on the thin side from being out on their own, and the shelter shaved off all their matted fur, so they are naked, but they are so much more comfortable and it will grow back!

They would love an adult home with adopter who is retired, or who works from home, so they could get a lot of attention and socialization. They seem to be enjoying the outdoors, so a fenced in area where they could run and play would be nice. They will need a patient person to help them to get over their fear and to remind them to potty outside. For Helga, running stray may have been all she ever knew, but we think that Hans was in a home at some point in his life.

Hans is neutered and Helga is spayed, they are up to date on their vaccinations (rabies, distemper and kennel cough), vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and microchipped. If you would like to meet Hans and Helga, go to www.cominischnauzerrescue,com and complete the on-line adoption application. We cannot set up a meet and greet appointment until we have a completed application.
