Hannah's Story
Are you looking for your next best friend?! Hannah is just the one!

Hannah has had a rough start to life. She was picked up as a stray in Texas and taken to a high kill shelter where she sat for a month with no interest at no fault of her own. She was spayed at the shelter during a late term pregnancy and then put on their euthanasia list due to space. :( Thanks to a foster stepping up, we were able to save Hannah and transport her to Iowa for a chance at a better life!

Hannah is the sweetest girl and the biggest baby! She loves affection and will nose boop you or lightly set her paw on your arm when she is looking for attention. She is very shy and still learning that humans aren’t scary, but is the biggest lover. Hannah is an approximate 1.5 year old Catahoula mix. She has the most beautiful hazel eyes and one of a kind coat with splashes of color. She is great with all other dogs and loves to play, but will also snuggle up for a movie on the couch. She loves belly rubs, going on walks and is great in the car. Hannah is house and crate trained but prefers not to be crated. She can be vocal and anxious at times when in a crate and does better in the bedroom while her fosters are out of the house. We recommend Hannah goes to a home with someone who is home more than not as she always wants to be with her people. We also would love to find Hannah a home with another friendly pup to show her the ropes and help her settle in. She is shy at first but warms up fairly quick and has the silliest personality. We just love her!

Hannah is spayed, current on vetting and microchipped. She is currently fostered in Mount Carroll, IL.
