Hannah's Story
HANNAH IS IN IMMEDIATE NEED OF A FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME.

Shelter life can be fun, but it also involves hours of downtime in a kennel. Hannah has such a zest for life, but kennel time is dragging her down. Would you foster or adopt our friend? She is crate-trained (will bark if she needs to go outside) and is a perfect combination of fun and cuddly. We're sharing a few pictures of Hannah demonstrating just how adorable she will look in your life. See for yourself; she'll fit right into your heart and home.

Hannah is under 40 lbs., cute, playful, and sweet as can be. She was born approximately May 2024. We're guessing she's an American Staffordshire mixed with possibly a Whippet (?). Small in stature with a big and joyful heart, Hannah is initially shy with some people, men especially. Give her a minute, and she warms right up! Hannah loves pup cups, walks, playing with her squeaky toys, chewing on her Benebones, and is eager to play with some other dogs. She is not a "Dog Park Dog."

In her previous life, Hannah was tied in the backyard and eventually dumped alone on a country road. Understandably, she was terrified upon arrival at the shelter. Thanks to our amazing volunteers, within three days, this little love bug blossomed into a happy member of our FOPAS family. With her joyful disposition, she'll make a wonderful addition to your family, too!

If you're interested in meeting our sweet Hannah, please complete and submit the application form:

https://www.parkvilleshelter.com/adoption-application

FOPAS is primarily run by volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare and are dedicated to our animals for their entire lives. As such, we screen all potential adopters and strive to match each adopter with the perfect fit for their lifestyle and activity level.

All adopters must live within a 4-hour drive of Parkville, Missouri.
