He is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on prevention — ready for his next chapter!<br/><br/>Hank is a sweet, devoted, and incredibly loyal boy who loves to play ball, chase a frisbee, and be close to his person. He’s the perfect mix of active and affectionate — happy to run and explore, then settle in for cuddles.<br/><br/>✠̈ The best things about Hank:<br/><br/>Fully house-trained and well-mannered in the home<br/>Never destructive and has excellent house habits<br/>Rides great in the car — loves adventures<br/>Very trainable and responsive — knows commands and enjoys learning<br/>Friendly with people and has done well with visiting dogs<br/>Loves to play, explore, and cuddle<br/><br/>Hank bonds deeply with his person and would thrive in a home that understands and appreciates this intelligent, loyal working breed. His owner, who adores him, is recently widowed and now facing health challenges in a senior living community. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities.<br/>We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.General Info - PLEASE READ!
