Unfortunately, when his family fell on hard times and lost their home, both dogs found themselves back in rescue through no fault of their own. Rowdy has since found his happy ending, and now it's Hank's turn.<br/><br/>This easygoing guy is happiest spending time with his people. He enjoys car rides, leisurely walks, relaxing in the sunshine, and simply being part of everyday life. Hank rarely barks, walks nicely on leash, and has excellent manners both at home and out in public. While Hank appreciates a good nap, he hasn't forgotten how to have fun. He loves splashing around in a kiddie pool on warm days, enjoys chasing a tennis ball, and still gets the occasional burst of goofy enthusiasm that reminds everyone he's young at heart.<br/><br/>Hank has spent years successfully living with and socializing around other dogs. He has attended numerous adoption events, lived with another dog in his previous home, and is currently doing well staying with a volunteer who has dogs of his own. While future introductions should always be handled thoughtfully, Hank has generally shown himself to be a social and dog-friendly companion. When meeting new people, Hank can be a little reserved at first, especially with men. Give him a little time, a few treats, and some patience, and you'll quickly see his softer side.
