Hopeful Hearts Rescue's Adoption Policy
Hopeful Hearts Rescue carefully screens potential adopters to ensure all animals are placed in safe, responsible, and loving homes. Adopters must be at least 21 years old and complete an adoption application that includes personal and veterinary references. Adopters must provide background information including previous animal experience as well as describing living accommodations for potential new pet including how many hours they will be home alone and where they will be kept. Approved applicants participate in a meet-and-greet with the animal to ensure a good fit for both the pet and family. Once approved, adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and pay the applicable adoption fee before taking their new pet home.
