HANK's Story

Meet Hank, a 7-year-old male Frenchie who is ready to find his forever home — and he’s looking for a family that loves being busy, social, and hands-on.
Hank is a true people dog. He loves kids, and with lots around, he’s always right in the middle of the action. He thrives in an active household where he can rotate who’s giving him cuddles and attention. He enjoys playing tag, tug-of-war, and absolutely loves his daily walks.

One of Hank’s favorite activities is heading to a private off-leash park where he can zip around freely — and yes, he is fast. Zoomies are a daily and he even practices his own version of parkour around the house. Despite having had previous knee injury, doesn't slows him down. Stairs can be a bit slower after a big activity day, but overall he keeps up just fine.

Hank is still working on his training. He currently knows “sit” and “find it” (which he loves — activate that sniffer). He does not have recall yet and can be reactive on leash, so continued training will be important for his future family.
At home, Hank expects to be included in everything. Guests? He’s part of the conversation. Couch? He needs a seat. Bed? He requires a corner — floor sleeping is simply not acceptable in Hank’s world.

He is excellent with food, has zero guarding behaviors, very respectful even when food is taken away. Enjoy burying and hiding toys around the house so he can “rediscover” them days later. Hank must have non-destructive chew toys, as he is a certified toy destroyer.

Hank is happiest as the only pet, soaking up all the love from his people. He does well roaming the house on his own, though he isn’t left alone for long or often, as his foster works from home.

Hank’s ideal home:
No other pets
An active, people-filled household
Kids welcome
Commitment to ongoing training
A couch and a bed he’s allowed on (non-negotiable, according to Hank)
Think Hank might just be your guy, apply now

Adoption Fee: $800 Includes a training session to help set Hank and his new family up for success.

Apply online today and help Hank start his next chapter!
