Handsome is a 10mo 12.5lb Pom. He’s dog and kid friendly. He’s housebroken when kept on a schedule, and crate trained. He’s good in a secure fenced in yard along with going for harness leashed walks. He’s friendly, affectionate, loves pets, attention and to play with any type of ball. He will follow you around the house. He loves to curl up on the couch with his people. He has a thick coat needing to be brushed regularly and groomed often. <br/><br/>Handsome's foster requires an active family and/or another playful dog in the home, to get tons of love and attention, be allowed on furniture to cuddle with his people, if a secure fenced in yard it must be minimum of a 4’ privacy fence as he can jump and climb. along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. <br/><br/>Handsome as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. <br/><br/>Handsome is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
