We're not sure if she was pregnant when they left, or if they left her after she had given birth. She crawled up under the dilapidated trailer they were living in, and that's where she and her pups were found.<br/><br/>The neighbors of the property posted on social media in MS, looking for help, and our excellent rescue partner said, "I'm coming to get them."<br/><br/>Covered in fleas, every rib showing on Mama Padme, and the pups were skinny as well. Mama didn't have much milk from being starved.<br/><br/>Everyone was happy to finally be inside and warm. Mama ate like crazy, and after about a week, her milk started to come back in. Pups began to fatten up, also. Padme' is dog-friendly and has helped nurse other puppies that weren't hers.<br/><br/>From Han's foster family:<br/>Han is 12 lbs as of 1/20/26<br/>He is doing great with car rides<br/>Continues to sleep well overnight<br/>He has taken well to crate training<br/>Doing awesome with house training<br/>Enjoys squeaky toys and playing tug with foster sister<br/>Already learning sit command<br/>Continues to be good with other dogs, but also think he’d be fine as an only dog<br/>He is great company for outings- loves to cuddle up with his humans, but also happy to be handed off to meet others and be social<br/>----------------------<br/><br/>ALREADY LOCAL!!!!<br/><br/>-----------------------<br/>Adoption fee of $500 + $100 spay/neuter deposit - Receive a $100 refund once you have your pet spayed/neutered at your vet within the allotted time frame in the adoption agreement. (Total adoption fee of $600; includes a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit)<br/>-OR-<br/>Total adoption fee of $750 - Includes a complimentary voucher for spay/neuter at Potter League Spay & Neuter Clinic in Warwick, RI. This voucher can ONLY be added on at the time of adoption. The voucher includes spay/neuter surgery, pain medication, and an e-collar. ** Please note: Their wait time is typically 3-6 months**<br/><br/>** PLEASE READ...
