Hamilton's Story

Hey, I’m Hamilton!

I’m about 3 years old and every bit the husky that loves to run, roll in the dirt, splash in water, and live life full throttle. I’m not here for couch cuddles or lazy afternoons—I’m here for wide open spaces and all-day freedom to be a dog.

Over the last year, I’ve gotten to experience what life is like with room to move—acres to roam, fresh air, and the chance to just be. And let me tell you, I’ve thrived. I deserve to keep that lifestyle, so a big, secure yard is a must for me. I’m not made for city life or small spaces—I’ve got too much heart (and too much floof) for that.

What makes me extra special? I’m one of the most bombproof dogs in our program. I’m phenomenal with kids—gentle, fun, patient—and I’m a go-to helper dog when it comes to supporting nervous pups or assessing new dogs. I’m calm, confident, and a total pro at making everyone feel safe.

We honestly can’t believe I’m still here. But when the right active, dog-savvy family finds me? Game over. You won’t believe how lucky you are.
