Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center's Adoption Policy
Members of the public interested in adopting should check our current procedures on our Adoption Process page at: https://icanimalcenter.org/158/Adoption-Process Our application form is available there and can be submitted via email. Applications generally take a minimum 24 hours to process.  Once the staff has approved your application to adopt, we will call you and set up an appointment to have you come to the shelter and visit the animal.
