Halo's Story
Halo is the perfect example of a happy-go-lucky puppy! She's 9 months old and all she wants is to play! She is super sweet, loves affection of all kinds and is very smart and eager to learn!

Halo loves everyone she meets and is still learning how to control her excitement appropriately. She is learning in her foster home how to keep her paws on the floor while greeting people and when there is food on the counter! She is also learning some basic commands such as sit, down and place and she loves putting her brain to work!

She walks pretty well on a leash, but she does tend to get excited when she sees people or critters out and about. She is also potty trained and crate trained, but she can get a little noisy still when there is commotion around, which she is working on in foster. All in all, she is very good for her age!

Halo does well with dogs, cats and kids, but with her being a young puppy still, she just doesn't always know when to stop and can be a bit rude. The ideal adopter for Halo will be able to recognize when she is being too much with another animal in the house and remove her when needed so as not to let her irritate the other dog or cat. She has every intention of playing and doesn't understand that the other animal may not want to. Kittens or smaller cats are not ideal at the moment due to her size and excitement level.

Halo would do best in an active home that understands she is still a young puppy that needs that just right balance of training, exercise and patience to really thrive in her new life!

Halo’s adoption fee is $325, if you are interested in making Halo a part of your family, please fill out an application at HomewardBownd.org
