Halo's Story

It’s believed he had been trapped there for a long time, suffering in silence. His story shocked our community and created a call for a justice for Halo.

Halo became a symbol of resilience — and now, he’s ready to become someone’s beloved family member.

Today, Halo is healthy, happy, and thriving! He’s crate-trained, housebroken, and great with kids. He loves meeting new people and isn’t fazed by much — not thunderstorms, vacuums, or strangers. He’s strong and curious, and while he’s still working on his leash manners (there’s just so much to explore!), he’s eager to learn and aims to please.

Halo enjoys toys, licky mats, and playtime with other dogs — though his forward, vocal play style might be too much for some. He hasn’t met any cats yet, but we suspect he’d want to be friends (perhaps a little too enthusiastically ?).

After everything he’s been through, Halo continues to greet life with joy, trust, and tail wags. He’s a survivor, a lover, and a walking reminder that healing is possible.

Apply to adopt Halo at thearrowfund.org/our-animals/adoption-application/
