Half-N-Half's Story
This is a courtesy post for a community member who is trying rehome this darling dog.
Half-N-Half is 5 to 8 years old, and on the smaller side, around 20 pounds.
This black and white cutie is a shy little guy but warms up fairly quickly to women (not sure about men, he has mostly been around women). He would likely chase cats, and would adapt to older kids but a home with young kids would not be a good fit.
He is a happy guy, energetic and loves to explore. He is an easy keeper and he is VERY treat-motivated.
Wants to please and is submissive and gets along well with other dogs.
Half-N-Half is crate trained, he sleeps in one at night and stays in an outside kennel (10x10) during the day.
He seems to be a quick learner, with a little time he would be the perfect companion.
He follows me around while I do chores with no prompting (and I don't have any dog-proof fences).
He can be mischievous (think garbage cans) but he is easily corrected with verbal commands.
He has a serious fear of baths and does not do well with a collar, but has no problem with the harness I put on him.
I have not worked with him on a leash much. I have worked with him a bit on "Sit" and he seems to catch on quickly.
A wire crate, bowls, and his harness will go with him, I just want him to find a good home.
He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines.
Please contact Liz at 707 496-9623 for more information.
