Meet Hailey — A Mother Who Survived So Her Babies Could Live <br/><br/>Some dogs endure things that should never happen. Hailey is one of them.<br/><br/>This beautiful Great Pyrenees mama was found chained outside, abandoned and left to fend for herself. Alone. Neglected. Forgotten.<br/><br/>And yet, in the middle of that hardship, she gave birth to seven precious puppies.<br/><br/>When a kind Good Samaritan saw her suffering and made the call that changed everything, Hailey was extremely emaciated and heavily infested with worms.<br/><br/>But even then, she was still feeding her babies.<br/>Still protecting them.<br/>Still choosing motherhood over her own survival.<br/><br/>That's who Hailey is.<br/><br/>Thankfully, those days are behind her. Hailey received the care she desperately needed and today she is healthy, happy, and absolutely thriving. Now that she no longer has to worry about simply surviving, we're getting to see the wonderful dog underneath that heartbreaking past.<br/><br/>Despite everything she endured, Hailey is soft, loving and trusting with people. She leans into affection as though she's been waiting her whole life to learn what kindness feels like. There's something incredibly touching about watching a dog who has known so little compassion discover just how good life can be.<br/><br/>When it comes to canine companions, Hailey can be selective with other female dogs, so we believe she would likely be happiest in a home with a male dog, or possibly as the only dog where she can finally enjoy having all the love and attention for herself. As always, a meet-and-greet with any potential canine sibling would be important to make sure everyone is comfortable.<br/><br/>Hailey gave everything she had to keep her puppies alive- NOW IT'S HER TURN FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE HER!!<br/><br/>She deserves a home where she will never be chained again. Never be forgotten. Never have to wonder if anyone cares.<br/><br/>A home where she can rest.<br/>A home where she can be cherished.<br/>A home where she is loved—not for what she can give, but simply because she belongs there.<br/><br/>***Note: Adoption Policy: Montague County Animal Rescue typically does not adopt dogs to homes where they will live primarily outdoors. We believe every dog deserves to be part of the family and live safely indoors. Exceptions may be made for specific breeds or unique circumstances where an outdoor environment is appropriate and secure.
