HaHa's Story

Haha is a sweet senior dog, at 8 years old. While he’s one of our resident old men, he still has a bit of pep in his step. He is a typical pitbull mix in that he doesn’t know his size or strength; because of this Haha would benefit from training. Haha loves his people, but is picky about other dogs and would thrive as the only pet in a home. Haha has had a complicated history, in which he has been found by the shelter as a stray twice (unfortunately his people abandoned him on two separate occasions). Haha deserves a forever family that will help him live out his golden years in a loving, stable home. No cats please.

It is also the poorest region of Colorado (1/3 of the residents in the county our shelter is in live below the poverty level. Our extensive spay/neuter program has reduced the number of homeless animals in this valley. And we have provided many many families with fine companion animals.
