Gypsy's Story
🐾 Meet Gypsy – A Gentle Hound Looking for a Fresh Start 🐾

Gypsy came to us from the Orange County Animal Shelter after a heartbreaking situation. She and her four siblings were found chained outside without proper shelter during a winter snowstorm. Thankfully, they were rescued and given the second chance they deserve.

Despite everything she’s been through, Gypsy is an incredibly sweet and gentle soul. She can be a little nervous at first and clearly didn’t receive much socialization earlier in life, but with a little patience she quickly shows her loving personality. Once she feels safe, she just wants to quietly be near her people.
We believe Gypsy is around 6 years old and appears to be a Foxhound mix. She has the calm, laid-back temperament that hounds are known for.

✨ Gypsy’s Details:
• Approximately 6 years old
• Foxhound mix
• Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped
• Heartworm negative
• Lyme positive (currently undergoing treatment)
• On monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention
• Gets along great with other dogs
• Reportedly not interested in cats
• Quiet and calm – could do well even in an apartment

Gypsy is looking for a patient and loving home that will give her the stability she’s never had before. She may need a little time to build confidence, but the reward will be a deeply loyal companion who just wants a safe place to call home.

❤️ If you’re looking for a gentle, quiet companion with a heart full of love, Gypsy might be your girl.
📩 Interested in adopting Gypsy?
📧 Email: adoptions@hoovesandpaws.org
📝 Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPAW/Dog
