Gypsy's Story

**Breed:** Boxer/Pitbull Terrier
**Status:** Spayed, chipped and Vaccinated

Gypsy found her way to PAWS as a stray in 2021 and quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite. Her silly and sometimes stubborn antics are sure to bring a smile to your face. She occasionally needs a trail of treats to coax her back into her kennel, showcasing her very unique personality.

Gypsy is a loving dog who enjoys making new friends, though she prefers to do so at her own pace. She can be selective on who she allows in her circle so walking with her on our weekly pack walks might help with any trust issues. Gypsy is searching for a calmer forever home with kids aged 16 and older, where she will be surrounded by love, patience, and plenty of yummy treats.

Her last dog meet was uneventful, a significant improvement from her first, indicating progress in her social skills with other dogs. However, Gypsy has a high prey drive, so a home without cats would be best.

Gypsy walks well on a leash but can get overstimulated by the exciting things she encounters on her walks.

For more information about Gypsy, please call PAWS at (719) 543-6464 or email contactus@pawspueblo.org.

www.pawspueblo.org
