She is used to regularly going outside and letting loose, so a large yard or regular exercise is a must for her. Gypsum is very energetic and doesn't love to be cooped up for long. Her favorite thing is swimming - Gypsum is a total water dog! If you let her, she'll run around the beach and swim for hours tirelessly. <br/><br/>Gypsum is crate-trained and does great. Her crate is her safe space, so she enjoys having free access to go in as she pleases. Gypsum is also housetrained and will let you know she needs to go potty by standing by the door.<br/><br/>Gypsum has a history of resource guarding, so she prefers to be fed in her kennel and to have space when eating. Something that can help with this is not having high-value treats or toys she may want to guard - ask a staff for tips!<br/><br/>Gypsum does great in the car and loves going for car rides! Pup cups are a must. Gypsum can pull on leash, so The Walkie (sold in the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe) is recommended to help make walks more enjoyable. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions.
