She has moderate puppy energy and loves spending her days playing, exploring, and soaking up attention from her people.<br/><br/>A typical day for Gwen includes morning potty breaks and playtime, lunchtime fun and another potty break, followed by an evening walk and more play before settling in for the night. She is crate trained and doing well with her potty-training journey. Gwen is also a smart pup who already knows sit, wait, and come, and she walks beautifully on a leash.<br/><br/>Gwen loves chewing on bones and durable toys, chasing balls, and wrestling with her canine friends. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she does best with slow introductions to new dog friends. She is currently fostered with her brother and another dog and has done very well in that environment. She is affectionate with people, great with kids, and always happy to curl up in a cozy bed or soft spot on the couch when its time to relax.<br/><br/>Gwen would thrive in an active family where someone is home often and can continue helping her grow into the amazing dog shes becoming. Her loving personality, playful spirit, and irresistible low-rider looks make her truly one of a kind.<br/><br/>Before coming to Fetching Tails Foundation, Gwens journey began in difficult circumstances. Rescuers found her littermates lying on a cold kitchen floor while their frightened mama hid under a bed, trying to stay safe from the other dogs in the home. The family, overwhelmed by illness and too many animals, reached out for help, and thankfully the shelter stepped in just in time. Gwen was born in the shelter after her family was rescued from Tunica, Mississippi, and has spent her young life proving just how resilient and loving a puppy can be.<br/><br/>Now safe in foster care, Gwen is ready to find the forever family shes been waiting for. If youre looking for a sweet, playful companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Gwen may be the perfect addition to your family.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Puppies are cute, cuddly and looking for a family to call their own. They need an owner who is home often, and willing to help with training, socializing and housebreaking. They need to be let out often so they can learn to go potty outside. Training is required, and we will need to see proof from adopters that puppies have been signed up for classes.
