My name is GUY!<br/><br/>I am a 1-year, 6-month-old Catahoula. <br/><br/>Here is everything the Shelter staff and volunteers have learned about me during my time here:<br/><br/>ENERGY LEVEL<br/>High – I am a dog that will need an active person or family.<br/>• I am a smart, energetic working dog who will need regular exercise and mental stimulation!<br/><br/>SKILLS<br/>• I have shown staff that I have advanced training and know sit, lie down, shake and speak!<br/><br/>LEASH<br/>• Sometimes when I get excited I may mouth the leash, but I work on my walking skills every day!<br/><br/>PLAYGROUP – While at the shelter I have participated in playgroups.<br/>• I can be picky about my canine companions, but get along with other respectful dogs.<br/><br/>MISCELLANEOUS<br/>• I love treats! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement.<br/>• I may do better with an experienced owner.<br/>• Interested adopters are encouraged to research my breed before bringing me home.<br/>• It is recommended that I meet any canine companions living in the home prior to being adopted.<br/>• I can be sensitive to handling, which includes but is not limited to medical/grooming and restraint.
