Guther

The One Where Gunther Finds A Family

A litter of pit bull/poodle mix puppies came to North Paw as owner surrenders last week. Well, actually according to a DNA test, they’re pit bull/staffordshire terrier/poodle/shih tzu and a little bit of several other breeds. Whatever they are, these pups are adorable and looking for forever homes now.

One of these pups is Gunther. He has no barista experience that we know of but he’ll keep you energized even without providing any coffee. He’s an adventurous boy who is ready for all sorts of fun with you. He’s a social butterfly, wanting attention from everyone, and he’ll do all sorts of things to get that attention. Gunther particularly loves being picked up for cuddles.

Gunther’s namesake on TV served coffee which is not recommended for young children. Our Gunther is kind of mouthy and hasn’t quite learned to take redirection yet we also recommend he not live with anyone under the age of 8. We don’t want anyone nipping anyone else!

He is a hungry boy who prefers his meals served in enrichment fashion - in a slow feeder, scatter fed, through training, etc. Gunther is still working on potty training but we’re sure he’ll pick it up quickly with consistent practice and reinforcement.

Are you ready for a new Friend like Gunther?

Gunther's adoption fee is $700! This adoption fee includes: his alter, a microchip, his rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think he may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius. This dog is currently being fostered in Chili, NY.
