Hi, I’m Gustoff.<br/><br/>I’m a 1-year-old Cardigan Welsh Corgi who was recently rescued from a puppy mill, and I’m learning what freedom and a real home are all about. Life is much better now, which I really appreciate. I’m still adjusting to all the good things that come with being safe and cared for. I am your typical adorable Corgi with little legs and big ears! <br/><br/>I can be skittish, especially with sudden movements, and quick actions from kids can scare me. Because of that, I would do best in a calm, adult-only home where things move at a gentler pace at least while I continue to adjust.<br/><br/>I like other dogs and enjoy their company, but I have shown some manageable resource guarding. With patience, structure, and someone who understands dog behavior, I can continue to improve. I may be happiest as an only dog, or with a dog-savvy person who can help guide me and set clear boundaries. I am a quick learner and am potty trained and crate trained at my foster home. <br/><br/>I’m a work in progress, but I’m worth it. With the right home, time, and understanding, I know I can continue to grow into a confident, loyal companion. If you think you might be the right match for me, I’d love the chance to meet you.
