Whether hes wrestling with his littermates, romping with his foster siblings, or convincing a human to toss a toy, hes happiest simply being part of whatever is going on.<br/><br/>Gus has come a long way since arriving in foster care. He started out as one of the shyer puppies, but with patience, encouragement, and plenty of positive experiences, hes grown into a much more confident little guy who genuinely enjoys meeting people and soaking up attention. This little guy loves treats, happily crunches his kibble, and is very food motivated, making him an excellent candidate for continued positive reinforcement training as he grows.<br/><br/>While Gus would benefit from a kind canine companion to play with and curl up beside, he could absolutely be your one and only if youre willing to give him all the love, cuddles, and belly rubs he could ever want.<br/><br/>Hes crate trained, uses puppy pads reliably in his designated potty area, and is making great progress with house training. Gus also rides beautifully in the car, making him an easy companion for errands, adventures, or weekend road trips.<br/><br/>As with any young puppy, Gus will continue to need guidance, consistency, and positive training as he grows.
