Gus's Story
Meet Gus, a one year old snuggle bug weighing about 35 pounds. He's had a rough start to life ashe was found with his siblings in an abandoned home. He went into foster and was hit by a car and broken his hip. he then came into foster with me and had surgery to fix his hip. He is fully healed and runs on that leg with no issues. He enjoys playing with my dogs and follows me wherever I go. I also have free range chickens and he does great with them. He loves to play with toys, especially a ball. I'm not sure if he is potty trained because he uses a doggy door so would need to learn to let you know he needs to go out. Because of his past, he is a little unsure when meeting people at first so slow introductions are suggested. We are working with him to trust people when meeting them. He needs a family with patience and can give him a chance to show his loving, fun, playful, and silly side. He is such a wonderful and loving guy.
The perfect home for him would be someone that is active but home a lot as he loves hanging out with his family and snuggling on their lap.
All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $150 for cats and $200 for dogs.
To meet this pet, please fill out a dog application or cat application.
