Meet Gus! <br/><br/>Gus is a 55lbs Black and Tan Mostly Coon Hound who came to us as a stray and was never claimed by his owner. Gus does well with other dogs and everyone he meets. In just his short year and half life he managed to get Heartworm :( We are currently treating him and will continue to treat him until his treatment is completed. <br/><br/>HOWEVER..............Gus needs a home where it can be a more quiet environment while he undergoes his treatment, the shelter is a bit to crazy and loud for a dog going through such treatment, it makes it a higher risk for him to not recover or even die due to the over stimulation. <br/><br/>If you can give Gus a forever home while we continue to cover his treatments we would be forever thankful and Gus would be as well! <br/><br/>If you are interested in giving Gus a place to stay forever please completed our adoption application on our website at www.moberlyanimalshelter.bravesites.com <br/><br/>Meet and Greets will be scheduled for approved adopters.
