Guppy is the most adorable puppy that you will ever meet! This little Berner mix is 29# and will be a year old on Aug 22nd. He gives great kisses and will make you laugh daily! He does struggle with resource guarding high value items such as food and toys. His foster mom is a dog trainer and he has responded beautifully to trades and being redirected with treats! She is happy to help support his adopter with training help. <br/>Guppy is extremely smart and already knows many tricks including roll over, leave it, touch, shake and high five. He is crate trained and house trained.<br/><br/><br/>The ideal home for Guppy would be - <br/>* Dog lovers who enjoy snuggling and a dog that loves to make you laugh<br/>* A fenced yard to keep him safe<br/>* Teens and older kids or no kids in the home<br/>* Work from home or are home most of the time. He would not do well left alone f <br/> for long periods of time<br/>* Only dog home or able to keep him separate and do slow introductions<br/>* Guppy is very much still a puppy & teenager. He needs a home that will be <br/> understanding and work with him via positive reinforcement and committed to <br/> taking a training class with him<br/><br/>Guppy is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm negative. He currently lives in Decatur, MI, just outside of Kalamazoo, MI.
