Gunner's Story

Gunner is a 5.5 year-old, approximately 85-90 pound White German Shepherd dog, who is friendly, smart and sweet--and excellent with small children including infants! He has been raised by the same family along with his brother, Remy (see Remy's separate profile) since he was a puppy and is a dedicated, loving family dog. He is a mix of White German Shepherd (father) and White Swiss Shepherd (mother), combining the intelligence and family-focused nature of both breeds.

Raised in a family home with very young children, Gunner is excellent with children of all ages. He has lived with newborns and is patient and highly tolerant with kids playing with him. He is a quintessential family dog, and is calm and social when on a leash in the front yard, or when visiting dog parks.

Gunner has completed 6 months of professional behavioral training with his owners in his first year. He understands house rules and is comfortable in his crate. While he is a large dog, he has good leash manners and is responsive to basic commands like come, sit, stay and more.

If you are interested in Gunner, please email Jacksdoghaven23@gmail.com so we can put you in direct contact with his foster.
