They adore other dogs, are wonderful with children, and carry gentle, people-oriented spirits that make them natural family companions.<br/><br/>Allow Gunner to introduce himself!<br/><br/>I’m a social, easygoing puppy who is really starting to come into my own. My name is Gunner, and I am as sweet as they come with a playful spirit that just never quits. I love being around people and soaking up all the attention I can get. I want to cuddle, but I can’t always hold still long enough because I just get so excited to be with you and fully soaked up in your attention. I just want all your love all at once.<br/><br/>Playtime is my favorite thing. I love chasing toys and running around the yard, living my best happy puppy life. I will go after a toy with full excitement, but I can get easily distracted by you and the moment, sometimes forgetting to bring the toy back because I’d rather be near you. I love to run and play outside and enjoy every chance to stretch my legs.<br/><br/>I also have a soft side. I really enjoy having a cozy bed, a blanket, and a plushie to snuggle up with when it is time to rest. Those quiet moments help me recharge so I can get right back to being my fun, energetic self.<br/><br/>I like other dogs, but I do best with ones who are bigger or confident enough to correct me if I get a little too excited. With dogs my size or smaller, I can sometimes try to take the lead and be more dominant during play. I am still learning my manners and just need the right companions and guidance to help me be my best.<br/><br/>I do okay on a leash, but I can get a little overzealous and pull when I am excited. I am eager to learn though, especially if it means more time out exploring with you.<br/><br/>At the end of the day, I am the definition of “just happy to be here,” and I wear that proudly.
