You’ll often find Gunner relaxing in the same room as his caregivers, content just to be part of the family.<br/><br/>Gunner enjoys spending time outdoors and taking short, leisurely walks where he can explore at his own pace. He is hard of hearing, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He is also very food motivated, which is a great way to get his attention and win him over! Gunner takes treats nicely and is always happy when snacks are involved.<br/><br/>Gunner does well with other dogs and would be a great companion for a home looking for a calmer, more independent dog. He doesn’t need to be the center of attention—he’s happy simply being near his people, curled up with a blanket and enjoying the company.<br/><br/>If you have a soft spot for senior dogs and are looking for a laid-back companion to share your home and your days with, Gunner may be just the guy for you. He’s ready for a comfortable place to call home and a family who will appreciate his quiet companionship.<br/><br/>The Adoption Fee (Tax Deductible Donation) is $150.<br/><br/>If you’re interested in adopting, you will need to complete and ADOPTION APPLICATION through NALA Rescue. All dog meets are scheduled by appointment in advance only, if approved.<br/><br/>All shots, boosters, rabies, spay/neuter, and microchip are included in NALA Rescues Adoption Donation charges. All dogs/puppies are available until they are removed from this site so please no inquires if a dog is available.
