Gunner's Story

Gunner is a young basset who is full of energy. He loves to play with other dogs, and seems to prefer canine companionship to people. A home with a dog who loves to play rough would be ideal. Gunner leaves cats alone and is not inclined to chase them. When he settles down enough to sleep, he likes to cuddle. Gunner sleeps through the night and knows how to use a doggy door. He also enjoys running around outside, following trails and playing chase.

Belly Rubs Basset Rescue's Adoption Policy

Please apply to adopt! Once your application is approved, we can put you in touch with our foster homes to discuss our dogs. Our dogs are in foster homes located across the state of Tennessee as we do not have a physical location. We will check personal references and conduct a home visit as part of your application. We will not adopt to families who keep any of their dogs as outside pets.
