Gunner's Story

Meet Gunner! <br/>Gunner is sweet 3 years old Sheperd Mix ready for his new home. Gunner loves to run and is always seeking out for an adventure. Because of his curiousness he is a bit of an escape artist and will hop 4ft fences. We recommend looking after him when being outside. He is very sweet and will do anything for a treat. He does protect his food from people, so we also recommend not touching grabbing and leaving him alone while he is eating. This is just an extra precaution for his people and himself. He has lived with cats and did fairly well with them. But we recommend slow introductions. Gunner is a little weary of new people when he first meets someone but does well when he sniffs them out first. If you are seeking a buddy that has lots of energy and enjoys being outside Gunner might be the one for you!

Cheyenne Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
As Wyoming’s largest animal adoption agency, CAS has the widest selections of cats and dogs, rabbits, small mammals and more in Wyoming. Visit our shelter today, or visit Adoptable Cats, Adoptable Dogs or Working Cats to view pictures and profiles of all pets in need of homes! Visit our website to see available animals or visit the adoptable animals at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. We have three large dog adoption rooms, “cat alley” and critter space. While visiting the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, a CAS adoption counselor will help you find the pet who is the best match for your family and lifestyle. Once you find your match, a Cheyenne Animal Shelter staff person will begin the adoption process, which often takes as little as an hour. Once you have reviewed all adoption paperwork, you’ll pay the adoption fee. Then, you’re ready to take home your new furry family member.
