He is enthusiastic, curious, loving, just all the Brittany good things. He is also one handsome boy with soulful eyes. He is an excellent cuddle buddy. He also loves wrestling with our resident Britt, doing zoomies in the yard, greeting new people and collecting things. Unfortunately these can be non sanctioned items (socks, toilet paper, etc.) Counter surfing is another hobby. We are working on correcting these habits.<br/><br/>Gunner really needs an active family who will appreciate his energy. One who has the time and patience to teach him the rules of being a good canine citizen. And one who does not have cats. We don’t have any experience with small children. But he does well with older kids, who understand his jumping is really excitement. Gunner is very picky about which canines he hangs with. As such he is NOT a dog park or walking with a group of dogs kind of guy. He may do best as an only dog or with careful introductions. His favorite activity is patrolling the yard for varmints.<br/><br/>We are not considering sight unseen or long distance adoptions for Gunner. He has already lost a family so finding that perfect fit is essential. You must commit to a meet and greet (humans and canines) to assure we have a good match.<br/>Gunner was an owner surrender. His senior owner developed health issues and could not keep him. He was fostered and adopted only to be returned. He had an obsession with cats in his adoptive home. He is now back in rescue searching for his forever home.<br/><br/>This boy is up to date on vaccinations, HW negative and on preventative. He is also micro chipped.
