Gunnar's Story
Gunnar is an American Pitbull Terrier mix born approximately 10/5/25, and this boy is equal parts adventure buddy, class clown, and oversized cuddle bug. He lives life with his whole heart — whether he's outside soaking up the sunshine, playing with dog friends, chasing after a ball, or curling up beside his people at the end of the day like he's always belonged there.

He absolutely loves other dogs his size or larger and adores his foster brother. Gunnar is still learning some social cues during playtime, but he's incredibly eager to learn and wants so badly to get it right. His foster says he's made amazing progress already, and his sweet, willing personality makes him such a joy to work with.

This smart boy is currently working on leash walking, place command, kennel training, basic manners, and he's also doing wonderfully with potty training. He's thriving with positive reinforcement and treats in all areas. He has even learned to ring a bell to let his foster family know when he needs to go outside. Yes... he literally rings a bell to tell you he has to potty. Smart and adorable is a dangerous combination.

Gunnar has the kind of joyful, goofy spirit that fills a home with life, laughter, and love. He would thrive in an active family ready for adventures, continued training, and plenty of snuggles on the couch afterwards.

Gunnar's heart belongs to his people and dog friends — cats just aren't his thing. So a cat free home is best ! He is an active boy who will need a forever family with a fenced in backyard for Zoomies and to keep him safe !

The suggested adoption fee for Gunnar is $415. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated.
