Gumdrop's Story

She’s here! Gumdrop

I picked up Gumdrop from boarding with local vet.
She was taken in by animal control after being found roaming the streets of Newburgh. With no home and no person to claim her, she sat and waited - for far too long.

During the car ride home she had her head out the window for most of it - a happy freedom ride! She’s decompressing and settling into a new space, but we want to find her a home soon.

We think she’s about a year old, unknown breed (but I mean, she’s perfect). Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives - clean bill of health. Good with other dogs, humans, and kiddos. Was great in the car. Potty outside. Doing well in the crate so far. She needs to work on her pulling, jumping (she has lots of love to give!) and leash skills, but these are all super workable and easy fixes that I’ll be starting with her while she’s here.
