Guinness's Story
Hi, I'm Guinness!

If you are in search of a handsome masked fellow to be the new love of your life, I'm your guy! I got my name because the adjectives "dark" and "stout" apply nicely to my physique, and even though the Rottweiler in me means German ancestry, I'm not opposed to a good Irish beer! I'm about 8 weeks old, and I was rescued about two and a half weeks ago running through the back roads of Pearland with another puppy from my litter. My sibling ran away, but I saw a bright future ahead when those nice people stopped to save me, so I jumped right into their arms! I've been described as a spunky ball of fun who is very social and good natured. I'm a thrill seeker with an above-average capacity for play, and I love the company of other dogs and cats ( yup, I'm not ashamed to say it...I like to hang around with cats. I don't see what the big deal is; why do some dogs chase them?). I also love going to a really fun place called the dog park. There, I get to learn important dog skills that my foster parents (who through no fault of their own are human) can't teach me. Right now I'm just one of the little guys there so I have to be extra polite, but one day I'll show them all! I'm completely crate trained and already house broken ( which for a two-month old is very impressive...I am probably gifted, but I guess my new family will have to give me a smart-kid test to prove it). I'm very loyal and even though I can easily entertain myself,I'd much rather be around and in the same room as you are; I hope my new family will have plenty of other pets for me to hang out with when they aren't at home. My most favorite activities are playing with my soccer ball, eating, playing with other things, eating, and especially, eating Amy's ice-cream.

Come and see me soon! And bring me an ice-cream cone, okay? Or a Frosty Paw.

Love, Guinness
