Guido's Story

ADOPT ME GUIDO!

We are seeking VERY specific home for him. He is 6 months old approx 15-20lbs and has a BIG goofy personality. He loves to talk and squeal with excitement. His forever home must be ACTIVE. He needs daily exercise and a fully fenced in yard to run and play in. He is NOT a lazy lap dog. He will require one other playful dog in the home. His family must have experience with brachycephalic breeds and the potential complications that come with owning a short nosed breed. Especially with allergies and extreme weather conditions. You also may have noticed his under bite/lengthened lower jaw. As adorable as it may be it could be problematic. At this time it does not affect his daily life or eating habits. But, in the future it could become an issue in his adult life as he grows. Guido does well with kids ages 10+ (We will not adopt to a home with children younger than 10) and does not mind sharing his house with a cat or two. He is utd on all vaccines, flea/tick, and current on heartworm preventive. Guido is fostered in Dover, DE and potential adopters must be willing to meet locally. Applications for Guido must be completed on our website https://www.tailsuppawsdownrescue.org
