Hi, I'm Gromit. I would love to go into a home with another friendly, playful dog, as they really bring me out of my shell! I'm very shy of new people and new places, so my new home will need patience with me as I learn about the world. Car rides and leashes are still hard for me, but I'm doing better on the leash day by day. I love being outside, eating treats (hot dogs are my guilty pleasure), and even like wading in the kiddie pool. If you have another dog in the home that wants a buddy, come meet me!

Great River Rescue's Adoption Policy
Cat Prices: $106.60 +tax (we do not accept checks for adoptions) Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (feline distemper), de-worming, flea/ear mite treatments, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, a pre-registered microchip, and in most cases a Rabies vaccination (this takes coordination from our veterinary partners). Upon request, we can conduct blood tests for an additional fee of $15. Dog Prices: $208.57 + tax (we do not accept checks for adoptions) Includes: basic kennel vaccinations (canine distemper & Bordetella), de-worming, flea/tick treatments, ear checks, spaying and/or neutering, a pre-registered microchip, and in most cases a Rabies vaccination (this takes coordination with our veterinary partners). Upon request, we can conduct blood tests for an additional fee of $15.
