She has one eye, a cleft lip, and a slightly pronounced forehead due to hydrocephalus. These features add to her adorable charm, but they also mean she needs a patient, understanding home prepared to support her needs.<br/><br/>Because of her condition, Zelda can have occasional off days and does best in a calm, quiet environment with a predictable routine and people who are home often. She forms strong bonds with her humans and feels safest with companionship and reassurance.<br/><br/>She may be slightly standoffish with new people at first, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines.
