Griffin's Story

GRIFFIN IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! This beautiful boy was found running with a pack of stray dogs in Eastern Kentucky – the others ran but Griffin turned around as if he knew this person was going to get him the medical treatment he needed. His mouth was covered with Papilloma Warts (which are viral and once removed do not return ) and he was malnourished. We are so grateful to his incredible rescuer, Bonnie, who took him immediately to be treated! They removed the papillomas with laser surgery, ran all the appropriate bloodwork, neutered and vaccinated him. His rescuer was unable to bring him home due to her sick and elderly boxer so she had him medically boarded with her veterinarian while he healed and then reached out to us for help in finding him a forever home! He was transported to Louisville today and is with one of our dedicated fosters. Griffin is less than one year old and is lovingly obedient, sweet and smart. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play.
