Greyfel's Story

Greyfel is approaching seven months old, which means he has spent a surprisingly large portion of his puppyhood waiting for someone to notice him- are you the one he's been waiting for?

He has been settling into foster care beautifully and seems determined to make life as easy as possible for the humans around him. Inside the house, he's calm, affectionate, and happiest when he can drape himself across a dog bed or wedge his head into someone's lap. Outside, however, he discovers that he has legs and would very much like to use them. Watching him take off across a yard, you'd swear there was a little Greyhound hidden somewhere in the family tree.

His foster family describes him as almost the perfect puppy. He's doing great with house training, settles quietly in his crate, loves other dogs, adores kids, and greets every member of the household each morning with a full-body wag that looks more like interpretive dance than tail movement.

Greyfel has that wonderful balance that so many people are looking for. He's playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being clingy, and young enough to enjoy adventures while already showing signs that he's going to grow into a really easy companion.

For the month of June, Greyfel's adoption fee is 50% off, and we'd love to see him spend the rest of his puppyhood where he belongs: in a home of his own.

Apply at www.sfcva.org.
