Grey Gatsby's Story

Meet Grey Gatsby 💙
Grey Gatsby has been through more than any dog ever should. He came from a situation of severe neglect, where he was kept in an extremely small crate and forced to live in his own mess. Seeing Grey in those conditions was heartbreaking—especially knowing just how sweet, happy-go-lucky, and loving he truly is.
Grey is about 5 years old and is genuinely the sweetest boy. When his original owners threatened to euthanize him, a kind community member stepped in to help. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to keep him long-term, and Grey was at risk once again. We are so grateful that Animal Control intervened and that Grey is now safe with us, where he can finally get the care and love he deserves.
Despite everything he’s been through, Grey is super energetic, playful, and full of life. He loves to play and is always ready for fun. We do know he previously lived in a home with children and other cats, though we are unable to do a formal cat test. Because Grey is a big boy, we recommend a home with older children who can handle his size and enthusiasm.
Grey Gatsby is ready for a fresh start and a forever home that will never turn their back on him again.
🐾 Interested in meeting Grey Gatsby?
Come visit us Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30–8:00 PM and Saturdays from 11:30 AM–4:00 PM. Or email rossiv@waynetownship.com
Please share and help us find Grey Gatsby the loving forever home he deserves. 💙
