Gretel

Meet Gretel!

Let us introduce Gretel! She was found as a stray with her brother and landed softly right here with us! She’s a Shepherd/Lab mix to the best of our knowledge (and by that, we mean guess lol) so she'll likely be a large size dog. Born around 8/4/26, this beautiful girl is full of playful puppy energy and has all the love in the world to give!

Gretel has been doing absolutely wonderful in rescue. She’s taking to the pampered pet life like a natural—turns out, comfy dog beds, endless love, and guaranteed meals beat living on the streets any day! If you ask her, she'll definitely tell you that stray life is for the birds.

She’s working hard on her house manners and is starting to catch on quickly to alerting when she needs to head outside for a potty break. Gretel is also beginning to learn basic commands like "sit"—she’s super eager to learn, especially if there's a delicious treat waiting for her as a reward!

Gretel is good with other dogs and children, but has not had the opportunity to meet any cats yet. She is ready to head out to her forever home though! Is that yours?

Gretel is spayed, age-appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

To meet her, please head to www.pettalesrescue.com and fill out an application today!

Gretel's minimum adoption donation of $360 is payable via Venmo, PayPal ($10 fee added), or Cash.
