A GET UP-AND-GO PUPPY: 3 - 4 months old / Medium once full grown Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm. Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week. I’m a typical, fun and very active puppy looking for a family that will be active with me as I grow, and one that will take me on lots of adventures. I really enjoy playing with the volunteers and think that I’d likely enjoy another playful dog in my new home too since playing is so fun! I also love sunbathing and a good nap after I've worn myself out with playtime. I have been friendly with the dogs I’ve met at the MM shelter, so if you have a nice, playful doggie at home let’s meet to see if we can be pals. I’m outgoing, fun and I know that you’ll love me! I am working on my potty training in my foster home, but I still have a way to go as it is new to me. I like a little privacy to do my business, so I won't always go while on a walk. I think a fenced in yard would help with this as it would give me a place to go potty privately as well as run, play, and sunbathe with my family. So, I’ll need my family to finish potty training me as well as teach me all the things a pup needs to know to grow up and become a wonderful family dog that you can be proud of! One thing I need to learn is how to share my toys as I get possessive of them. I'll need you to work with me on this, and my trainer will be glad to provide tips on how to do so. I recently enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program and I have already mastered the ‘sit’ command. I am working on lots of other new pup skills so stay tuned! At the MM facility, I have been pretty vocal, so I should not live in an apartment/condo type home as I wouldn't want to upset our neighbors. My short break foster mom says I'm lovely, very polite in the kitchen, and a great friend to her gentle 2-year-old daughter who gave me tons of hugs and snuggles. I’m in a foster home with a 6-year-old now. I may be a little scared of the dark as I cry when the lights go out at bedtime, so please leave a nightlight on for me until I get settled in. You’ll likely notice my cute little squinty eyes as you meet me – the vet has checked me out twice and doesn’t see anything that needs treatment, so it could be that they are just a little smaller than some dogs and I have a funny little blink/squint. I have sharp puppy teeth, so have lots of things for me to chew on and start gently training me not to chew on you or the kids so we'll all be happy! Energy level: Currently 6-8. I'm spayed, micro-chipped and current on my immunizations. My adoption fee is $275.00.
