Meet Gretchen
Gretchen is about 2 yrs old and 35 pounds. She came from a rural animal control and that facility has had dealing with her previous owners for a while so they were relatively confident of her age and knew that her mom was a min pin mix. She is larger than typical and really looks more like a feist mix. She is a pretty girl who has the most engaging smile when she is feeling good and her whole body wags when she is happy. She is very shy and unsure around people until she gets to know them. She was left on her own as a young dog and it has taken time for her to realize how much she loves people. She is simply unsure of who to trust. She would do best with a fenced yard and ideally another dog to be with. Watching her blossom from a super shy girl to a happy dog has been a real pleasure.
