Meet Greta!<br/>Greta is a 6-year-old female Shih Tzu mix with a sweet and gentle personality. Though she can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly—especially if you’re relaxing in a recliner! She loves to climb into your lap for some quiet cuddle time.<br/><br/>Greta is bonded with her best friend, Gizmo, and they must be adopted together. While she doesn’t show much interest in toys, she enjoys playing and spending time with Gizmo.<br/><br/>Greta is potty trained, but she doesn’t always signal when she needs to go out. Her foster mom takes her out regularly every few hours, which works well for her routine.<br/><br/>She walks well on a leash and enjoys going for strolls. Greta can be food aggressive around other dogs, so it’s important that she’s fed separately to avoid any issues.<br/><br/>One last thing—Greta is a bit camera-shy, which makes capturing her adorable personality in photos a challenge. Applicants are subject to a home visit, and veterinary references will be checked. Please include a vet reference (including phone number) when applying online.<br/><br/>Our application process:<br/>FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.<br/>SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.<br/>If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
