She’s fully house trained, crate trained, and has lovely manners—she sits patiently for meals, doesn’t jump up, and waits to be invited onto the couch. Her days are simple and sweet: a couple of short walks, some light training (she’s working on her sits, stays, and recall), and lots of time spent curled up at your feet, just happy to be near her person. 🐾 <br/><br/>On leash, Greta is a dream. She walks nicely with only minimal pulling (usually just when she’s ready to head back inside—she’s not exactly a fan of the cold or snow ❄️). She enjoys getting out for her daily strolls, meeting new people and dogs along the way, and is gaining confidence more and more each day. 🐾 <br/><br/>Greta has a soft spot for other dogs—especially smaller ones, who she’s happy to play with right away. Larger dogs just need a proper introduction, as she can be a bit shy at first. She’s not at all pushy or dominant—more of a quiet observer who warms up at her own pace, sometimes even breaking into playful little bounces once she feels comfortable. 🐾 <br/><br/>With people, Greta is incredibly loving and sweet, especially with women and older children. She can be nervous around men initially and will need slow, gentle introductions to help her feel safe but has developed a great relationship with the man in her foster home after only a couple weeks. Like many sensitive souls, she may cower or seem unsure at first—but give her patience, kindness, and a little time, and you’ll see her true, affectionate personality shine through. 🐾 <br/><br/>One of Greta’s most endearing traits is how she communicates—whether it’s her soft eye contact, her polite little sits, or the gentle paw tap she gives when the belly rubs stop too soon (because in Greta’s world, belly rubs should really never end). She also has a playful side, loving a good game of ball on a nice day or happily settling in with a chew bone or stuffy. 🐾 <br/><br/>She’s calm and relaxed when left in her crate (she’ll simply nap while you’re away) and has been left for a few hours at a time without issue. When you’re home, though, she’ll happily follow you from room to room—your quiet, loyal companion who just wants to be included in your day. 🐾 <br/><br/>Greta is still building confidence in new environments and with loud noises, so she’s looking for a calm, patient home that will continue to guide her with gentle, positive reinforcement.
