Meet Gravy! Gravy came in as a stray towards the end of November from the Lincoln area, and while many of his neighbors recognized him his owners never came forward for him. This handsome Mixed Breed is about 2 years old and weighs roughly 49.6lbs currently. Gravy is a total goofball! He can almost never be found without a smile on his face and a wag in his tail! This charming guy does have a hot spot on the top of his head that is currently being treated with antibiotics by our veterinary team, but he hopes this "beauty spot" doesn't make you shy away from how amazing of a dog he is! While we aren't entirely certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% Ladies' Man! With any rescue dog, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. <br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
