Grandpa Blu

Meet Blu, or as we so fondly call him, Grandpa Blu!<br/><br/>Blu is the definition of a gentle soul. His sugar dipped snout shows signs of life long lived, yet his spunk and pep show he's got so much more life left in him! He is estimated at around 13 years old, but ya know, age is just a number!<br/><br/>Gramps is recovering from a less than ideal former housing situation, so he is currently building up his strength, stability, and stamina! But trust us, it does not get him down one bit. He is learning to bounce, play, and dare we say.... even run a little?! He may need some help on the stairs or a lift to your couch or bed, but Gramps still gets bouncy and excited for his daily walks! He keeps it short right now, just around the block, but loves them all the same! His favorite part of walks is all the humans who want to say hi to him! He will awoo for attention or gentle stroll over to a passerby with the sweetest look in his eyes that say "I know you want to pet me"!<br/><br/>Grandpa is still learning the ropes of house training (and sometimes wears a diaper!), but he is figuring it out quickly and his fosters could not be more proud!<br/><br/>Blu prefers to be with his people (in the same room, on the same couch, or better yet, on their lap!). He is incredibly cuddle and affectionate, and will gently paw at your for more pets if you stopped but he wasn't done yet! <br/><br/>Blu has never met a stranger - dog, cat, or person! He loves all, has lived with all, and would love to have as many friends as possible (two and four legged!)<br/><br/>While he does have a joyful spirit, he is a mellow dog in the home! He sleeps most of the day and would prefer a home where he can keep his routine up of 3 naps in before noon and regular movie nights in.<br/><br/>Gramps is currently learning to be calm and content without his people around. He has mastered sleeping in his crate at night and is still learning the ropes of being alone in a crate in daytime. He may whine for a bit, but he does settle in and you can find him loudly snoring while he waits for your return!<br/><br/>Grandpa is easy going, happy-go-lucky, and an absolute lover who is ready to steal your heart (and your couch!)
