Gracie's Life!!!'s Story

Little Gracie is a 4-year-old, 8-pound long-haired Chihuahua with an incredibly sweet spirit. Despite having a rough start in life, she has shown remarkable resilience and is truly blossoming into a happy, loving companion.
When she first came to us, Gracie needed full veterinary care, including being spayed and having a dental procedure. She had been surrendered by a breeder and was in need of some extra TLC. While in her foster home, she experienced a setback and broke her front leg after a jump — something not uncommon in small breeds. She underwent surgery and now has two plates in her leg, but you’d never know it today. Gracie uses her leg without any issues and gets around just fine.
She’s truly a perfect little girl with so much love to give.
Here’s what her foster parent has to say about her:
Though she was very skittish at first when it came to people and other dogs, she has really come out of her shell.
Gracie is learning how to be a dog; she now plays with toys, takes treats from a hand, goes on walks with a leash, and does her business outside on the grass. She was very good with our groomer. She is very affectionate and loving with people (especially men) and gets along with other dogs. At night, Gracie sleeps in her crate without a whimper. We believe she is on her way to becoming a great pet.
Because of her extended vet bill her adoption is $950.00 which is only a fraction of her vet bill. We are a small Rescue and we don't have free veterinary care. Thanks for your understanding. Gracie is worth every penny.
